Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ledgersathi (the "App"), a free stock ledger tool available at ledgersathi.in. By creating an account, installing, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Ledgersathi is

Ledgersathi is a free interface for tracking inventory — stock-in, stock-out, and current quantities across one or more warehouses. When you sign in, the App requests permission to create a Google Sheet, create and update a companion Google Apps Script project, and deploy that script as a web app — all inside your own Google Drive. See our Privacy Policy for the exact permissions requested. That spreadsheet is your data store: the App reads from and writes to it directly from your device. Ledgersathi does not operate its own servers or database to store your business data.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the App. The person who first signs in to set up a ledger becomes its Admin, and can create additional user logins for that ledger. User passwords are salted and hashed before they're stored in your own spreadsheet, so Ledgersathi and the Admin can verify a login but can't look up or recover the original password — if a user forgets theirs, the Admin needs to set a new one. You're responsible for keeping user usernames and passwords reasonably secure.

3. Free of charge

Ledgersathi is free to use, with no subscription fees and no limit on the number of user accounts. We don't currently charge for any feature of the App. If that ever changes for new features, existing core functionality will remain free.

4. Your data and your responsibility

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to store or process unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the App beyond what's permitted by applicable law, or misuse the Google sign-in flow to access accounts that aren't yours.

6. Availability and no warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser. Since your data depends on Google Sheets and Google Apps Script being available, any outage or change on Google's side can also affect the App.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledgersathi and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost stock records, lost profits, or business interruption — arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when that happens.

9. Contact

For questions about these Terms, you can reach the developer, Subham Manna, at keyatrader@gmail.com.

This is a general template and not a substitute for legal advice. If Ledgersathi is used commercially at scale, consider having these Terms reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Indian IT and consumer-protection law.
